Earl was the first person I met when I moved to10th Street in August 1959. That day turned out to be a true blessing because I met a friend for life that would do anything for another person. We walked to school together almost every day until graduation. And I almost always has to rush because he would come out of the house late and ask me why the hell do I get up so early. Earl, Reginald Farley and I were roommates in a trailer as freshmen at  Fort Valley State. We had two bedrooms for the three of us and we nicknamed him "Dr. Strange Mind" because of his at attire and his adventourous personality. When we had to decide who would have the single room. Earl said flip coins and the odd man gets the room. Reginald and I laughed and said, " You can have it, I'm not sleeping in the room with you. He laughed and  replied " I don't want to sleep with you mother hen's anyway". My friend, you are truly loved.
