DC, as he was called by our friends at Morris Brown College where we both attended college.  It felt good having a homie there that I  could call a true brotherly friend.   I remember when we were seniors in high school we would go to his dads and Peggy Scott's house house to practice.  They let us use all of there equipment. One group were the temptations which were James Mott, DC and I don't remember who else but the dang "You got me going in circles on the talent show and Brenda Peabody, Ozell Bradford and I were the Supremes and we sang Someday We'll Be Together. We thought we were sounding good. It felt like we would be professionals one day.  My other most memorable memory of DC that I will never forget is when he let me and my friends borrow his car our sophomore year at Morris Brown and I dropped his keys by accident down the elevator shaft but he never loss his cool and he did not get mad.    Rest In Peace DC.

During all our years at Carver, Donald was friendly and kind to me.  I especially remember his being respectful at all times.  I was honored that he agreed to be my escort to the Homecoming Game our senior year.  He even took me to the Jerry Butler concert.  Rest in peace dear brother.
